Fresh from his Lakeside World Championship final appearance, WDF number 1 ranked player Dean Winstanley wasn’t letting the grass grow under his feet as he jetted off to play in the Romanian National Championships.

With a record field of over 54 teams and 132 entries for the singles event, darts in Romania continues to attract new players in the competitive arena. The event was won by DANIEL RACOVEANU ( men)  and OANA TAPU (women)

Dean was on hand to mix with the fellow competitors and signed some Nodor dartboards (used exclusively in the tournament) to auction for charity, helping raise the profile of the event.

The championship was played in a modern club and was also supported by Metaxa, whose promotional support staff helped to add a touch of glamour to the already impressive surroundings!
